How to Program Arduino by using smartphone

Hello everyone! In this task, we are going to program Arduino by using our smartphone, this task is important for all of us because we can’t carry our PC or Laptops everywhere but the phone always live in our pocket and in this scenario, our smartphone can everything for us

So here are the things that we use

  • SMARTPHONE
  • ARDUINO DUE
  • ARDUINO UNO
  • ARDUINO LILYPAD
  • ARDUINO STM32
  • ARDUINO NANO
  • OTG
  • ARDUINO CABLES
  • SERVO MOTOR
  • LED CONNECTED WITH RESISTANCE

 

Now First we will open a google play store in an Android smartphone and search for Arduinodroid and click the install button and wait for the downloading now downloading and installation is complete so click on the open button and open the app

PLAY STORE → SEARCH FOR ARDUINODROID→INSTALL & OPEN

This is Arduino Uno I choose this board because it is the most common board in all now take the Arduino cable and connect the USB Port to OTG and the second term of cable to an Arduino board now I am going to connect  OTG to smartphone Arduino LED are glowing it means a board is connected to phone now click on menu button and go to the settings and select the board  type and then choose Arduino here you can see the name of all Arduino board here you have to find your board and select I will select UNO at this time

MENU→SETTING→BOARD TYPE→ARDUINOCHOOSE YOUR BOARD

click again in menu button and select sketch and go to the library example here you can see all examples I will choose SERVO to show you, after clicking on an example you will see it the two options  you have to choose sweep now the code is loaded you can check and get the pinout

GO BACK TO MENU→SKETCH→LIBRARY EXAMPLES→CHOOSE ANY EXAMPLE (LIKE SERVO)→SWEEP

This is 9G servo motor connected with external wire finding the pinout in coding pin no 9 of UNO is for the signal wire of the servo and Vcc of the servo on 5 volts and ground of servo on Arduino ground now press on compilation button and compilation the file it will take a few seconds  and press the upload button to upload the code phone to board it is showing error but don’t worry  you will try again  and second attempt it’s done you can see servo is moving 0 to 180 degree and reverse 180 degrees to 0 you can apply this process to all Arduino board it is almost same for all

HOW TO RESET  AND RE-PROGRAM ARDUINO 

Go to the menu option and select sketch then click new and type this letters After typing all the letters go to the compilation option and upload the codes to Arduino you can see the servo motor stops it means the last code is removed from the board so now remove the connections of servo motor

MENU→SKETCH→NEW→TYPE

  2. voidloop() {}

now I will show you the other way to upload code but first we will remove this go to the sketch and select new and confirm in other future post I will show you how to write a code but for now I am going to do drag-drop so copy the codes from anywhere and paste  read and find the pinouts click on compilation button and confirm so upload the code to Arduino board it can be show error but no problem try again I need this LED  to show you I  really positive on  pin no 7 according to the sketch and negative on ground of Arduino board  so lets try again to upload the code in second attempt it’s done LED is doing his work Hope this task is useful for  you don’t forget to tell us about this task
